Cabinets of handpicked rift sawn oak create the warmth in this contemporary kitchen. While the floor plan of the kitchen remained the same, every detail was considered to pull off the clean look the homeowners wanted. In the back splash, black-faced outlets and switches are set in a 4" granite splash. Frosted glass tiles above create a glow in any light condition. A unique cloth-wrapped bulletin board was installed around a corner for this busy family of four. Even the cabinet door and drawer pulls were special ordered after being tracked down from a magazine picture.
