This highly energy efficient house has energy bills half of other homes the same size. Active systems include solar electric, solar hot water heater, solar pool heater, geothermal a/c system. Passive systems include exterior wall skin vent system, natural and fluorescent day lighting, and energy efficient appliances.
The house is designed for a family of four, with his and hers offices. A downstairs guest room has a wheelchair accessible bathroom, separate kitchenette/project room and exterior entry for future flexibility. The generous backyard has a lap pool and pool house.
